Gor Mahia striker Daniel 'Mzee' Sserunkuma is on the verge of joining
paid ranks in Armenia after reports suggest he has been offered a
loan deal at Armenia premiership side Banants.
Futaa.com reports that Banants has proposed a six month loan deal for
the diminutive striker who left Nairobi a week ago with a possibility
of a permanent deal at the end.
"FC Banants has proposed a six month loan deal for Sserunkuma which
I believe will create a platform for him to move to a bigger League
after the end the loan period", confirmed his agent Ken Joseph.
The club has sent the proposed loan agreement deal to his club Gor
Mahia FC and hopes to reach a consensus as soon as possible before the
closure of the Armenia transfer window which has just seven days left.
Meanwhile, despite the rumoured transfer deal, Gor Mahia official
Ambrose Rachier has stated that the club intends to seek legal redress
against Ken Joseph a Fifa accredited agent who is in the middle of
this deal insisting Sserunkuma's disappearance from the club without
authority to go for trials.
In a statement released by K'Ogalo, Joseph is blamed for not following
the rules and regulations as per transfer of players.
"The man is a Fifa accredited agent who has all rules on his
fingertips. We can't accept such behavior from someone who knows the
law. What he did sneaking a player out of the country is unlawful",
Rachier said
Nevertheless, if the deal goes through, Sserunkuma will join
compatriot and former KCC FC and Cranes midfielder Noah 'Babadi'
Kasule at the club.
As usual, we shall keep you posted on the development.
