NAIRIT EMPLOYEES WERE CHEATED AGAIN
Employees of Nairit received their salary for only one month instead
of the pledged two months. The employees went on protest in front of
the president administration demanding their salaries for the past
10 months.
The employees on forced outage told Lragir.am that they were promised
their salaries for two months, one salary to be paid on July 30 and
the second to be paid on August 1. No payment was made on July 30.
They received only one salary on August 1. Furthermore, the company
has sent the rest of employees on forced outage.
The total number of employees of Nairit is 2700. 90% of shares belong
to Rhinoville Property Limited which is registered in the offshore,
the other 10% belongs to the RA government. The company's investment
plan failed, the factory is pledged in the CIS Interstate Bank.
The government is looking for investors. The minister of energy and
natural resources Armen Movsisyan has recently announced that ITERA
and Rosneft are interested in the company. Armen Movsisyan informed
that the company's debt is 100 million dollars but according to
unofficial information, the debt is much bigger.
