ARMENIA TO OPEN EMBASSY IN VIETNAM

Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang received outgoing Ambassador
of Armenia to Vietnam Armen Sargsyan (seat in Beijing) on August 6,
Armenian Foreign Ministry's press service reported.
The Vietnamese President thanked Ambassador Sargsyan for his work and
his contribution to the development of the bilateral relations. He
expressed confidence that the upcoming opening of Armenia's Embassy
in Vietnam will help further strengthen the friendly ties between
the two countries.
Truong Tan Sang noted that he plans to visit Armenia next year,
according to an agreement reached with the Armenian President during
his official visit to Vietnam in June 2012.
Armen Sargsyan, for his part, expressed gratitude for the support of
Vietnam's government during his diplomatic mission and stressed that
the opening of Armenia's Embassy in Hanoi will be an incentive for
the further development of the bilateral relations.
