ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTRY LAUNCHES CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS ON BORDER INCIDENT

YEREVAN. - Armenian Defense Ministry's investigation department
has opened a criminal case in connection with an incident on
Armenia-Azerbaijan border, spokesperson Meri Sargsyan told Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
The criminal case was opened on charges of "murder committed in a way
dangerous for the life of many people and out of motives of national,
race or religious hate".
As reported earlier, servicemen of N military unit Norair Petrosyan
and Arthur Asoyan, both being wounded, were found in a post on Friday.
The soldiers were taken to Agarak hospital where Norair Petrosyan
died. The incident was registered in the morning near Agarak on the
border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
