RUBEN VARDANIAN APPOINTED AS ADVISOR OF SBERBANK CEO

Co-Director of Sberbank CIB Ruben Vardanian has been appointed as
advisor of Sberbank CEO German Gref.
The press service of Sberbank reports that Vardanian's appointment
is part of the reorganization of the bank's Corporate Business unit.
Deputy Chairman of Sberbank's Board Andrey Donskoy has been appointed
as Director of Sberbank CIB, with member of the Board Alexander
Bazarov named to be his deputy.
Vedomosti quotes Gref as saying that Sberbank is refocusing from
products and services to complex customer approach.
Vardanian is a Russian businessman of Armenian origin. Forbes reports
him to have a fortune of almost $0.5bln. He has a charitable foundation
that has provided $20mln for the $45mln Revival of Tatev project and
is co-funding the $120mln Dilijan International School project.
