HAYKAKAN ZHAMANAK: GAS PRICE SUBSIDY TALKS STILL CONTINUE

A spokeswoman for the Armenian government, Susanna Tonoyan, told
Haykakan Zhamanak on Monday that the talks with Russia over gas price
subsidizing still continue.
Armenia hopes to receive an annual grant of about USD 150 million
from Russia, thanks to which the gas price will be USD 189 per 1,000
cubic meters instead of current USD 270.
25 days ago, Armenian Energy Minister Armen Movsisyan said that the
talks "seem to be over, and that the mechanisms will be finalized in
the coming days and a respective statement will be made."
