ARMENIAN NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES TO CELEBRATE ITS 70TH ANNIVERSARY IN OCTOBER
YEREVAN, August 27. /ARKA/. Armenian National Academy of Sciences
will mark its 70th anniversary by staging a series of festive events
on October 15 and 16, the academy's press office reported today.
In addition to a ceremonial meeting in the National Opera and Ballet
Theatre, the academy will also open an exhibition of its achievements
and will hold a reception.
Foreign guests will tour the academy's institutes and after that will
consider cooperation prospects in roundtable discussions.
The press office says delegations from 20 countries are invited for
