RUSSIAN POLICE SAY NO RELIGIOUS MOTIVE SEEN IN SHOOTOUT NEAR ARMENIAN CHURCH

The Russian police denied the version that a shootout near the Armenian
church in Kaliningrad was religiously-motivated.
Media reports alleged that a conflict had religious motives as the
incident occurred not far from an Armenian church. The police said
all participants were Russians by the origin, and supposedly business
matters were the reason for a conflict, Kaliningrad.ru reported.
As reported earlier, an unknown opened fire near Surb Stepanos
Armenian Apostolic Church in Kaliningrad, Russia, on Tuesday. Three
man were wounded.
