VARTAN OSKANIAN'S SON WAS DETAINED
Pastinfo informs referring to reliable sources that on August 29 the
ex-foreign minister Vartan Oskanian's son and his friend were arrested
near a bar on Khanjyan Street for using drugs. They were searched,
nothing was found on Ara Oskanian whereas there was some white powder
in his friend's telephone shell. The powder has been submitted for
examination. The detainees have been set free, no proceedings have
been launched but files are being prepared.
We have learned that Ara Oskanian's neam features in another case
of drug sale. In response to our inquiry the RA police department
of public relations and information promised to check out and share
the information.
