ArmRusgasprom must offer explanations about Alishan company's
complaint - Arshak Sadoyan

If the ArmRusgasprom Company fails to offer explanations for the
statement by the Alishan cannery, the case will go to law, Arshak
Sadoyan, Chairman of the Committee on Entrepreneurial Activities and
Consumers' Affairs, Public Council of Armenia, told Tert.am.
Founding Director of the Alishan company Serzhik Mosesyan stated
recently that the cannery is on the verge of bankruptcy because of
ArmRusgasprom failing to properly perform its duties.
`A few days ago the Commission received a complaint about
ArmRusgasprom illegal demanding huge sums from the company. The
cannery's gas supply was cut off,' Sadoyan said.
`We have the information that ArmRusprom has for years illegally
demanded huge sums from the cannery. After the fraud was exposed,
ArmRusgasprom representatives arrived at the cannery and changed the
gas pressure regulator to hide the fraud. But the new regulator did
not meet the requirements. The pressure was too high, which caused an
explosion. Fortunately, there were no victims,' Sadoyan said.
The Alishan company wants to call ArmRusgasprom to account.
`We have summoned representatives of Alishan and ArmRusgasprom, but
ArmRusgasprom representatives did not arrive. If they fail to offer
explanations,' Sadoyan said.
