Serzh Sargsyan: Armenia's security agencies have accumulated valuable knowhow

YEREVAN. - `Over the course of decades, the security agencies have
gone through serious ordeals, they have strengthened at visible and
invisible fronts, they have formed traditions, and they have
accumulated a valuable knowhow.'
The aforesaid is noted in Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's
congratulatory message issued on the security agency worker's day,
which is observed on December 20.
`Dear workers of the national security agencies of Armenia: The
intelligence and the counterintelligence agencies were formed 95 years
ago, after the proclamation of the First Republic of Armenia.
`You have greatly contributed to the neutralization of the threats
against our state and society. All prerequisites for professional
development and improvement of your work exist today.
`The new realities and challenges of the modern world and of our
region must have an adequate response,' President Sargsyan's message
also states.
