ARMENIAN EDUCATION MINISTER MEETS WITH INTEL VICE PRESIDENT
Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan has met
with the vice president of the Sales and Marketing Group and general
manager of the Intel World Ahead Program John Davies within the
frameworks of the Education World Forum held in London.
During the meeting with the top manager of a major Intel education
program, Ashotyan, who headed an Armenian delegation at the forum in
the British capital, discussed details on carrying out the agreement
signed by the corporation during last year visit~Rs of the Armenian
prime minister to the United States.
Special attention was reportedly paid to the international experience
of the program in providing first-grade students with computers and
such a project in Armenia. The two also attached importance to the
joint programs for teacher training, e-learning programs and the
establishment of specialized laboratories.
