YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 1, ARMENPRESS: Explosion in front of the American
Embassy in the Turkish capital, Ankara which took place on Friday is
at the center of attention of international press and media.
Outstanding American daily as New York Times referred to the explosion
and tried to find out some links between the explosion and NATO's
missile system installed on Turkish-Syrian border. NYT consider recent
activity of Kurdistan Workers' Party in Turkey to be one of the
possible reasons.
The motives of the attacker have yet to be confirmed. But claims in
social media outlets said the explosion could have been also linked
with the arrest of Osama Bin Laden's son-in-law in a security
operation in Ankara. As reports Armenpress, French and German
Embassies in Ankara are situated near the Embassy of the USA.

died and another person was injured. The bomber was believed to have
panicked and detonated an explosive belt while going through security
