Raffi Hovannisian draws excited crowds in Kotayk Region
Yerevan--Raffi K. Hovannisian today continued his campaign tour
through the towns of Charentsavan, Byureghavan, and Nor Hatchn in the
Kotayk region.
A meeting in the Charentsavan town square drew hundreds of citizens
from multiple party affiliations and political backgrounds. The
diverse and energized crowd repeatedly voiced their support of
Hovannisian's candidacy during his speech.
Hovannisian's next stop was Byureghavan, where the scheduled town hall
meeting had to be moved outdoors to accommodate the three hundred
supporters who turned out. Hovannisian presented his platform to the
constituents--reflecting on his vision of industrial development, army
reforms, reversing emigration, and advancements against corruption.
`Let none of us be absent,' Hovannisian said in his final stop at Nor
Hatchn, continuing his urge for active participation on election day,
explaining that a true voter turnout of 70% would make it possible to
destroy the fraud maching and pave the way for a new Armenia.
Over two dozen media outlets covered Hovannisian's meetings in the
Kotayk region.
