Tbilisi hosts benefit concert for Syrian-Armenians

A classical concert in the frameworks of an assistance program for
Syrian-Armenians was held in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi on January 29.
The event, organized at the Tbilisi's State Conservatoire's small
hall, had attracted renowned musicians of different nationalities. It
was attended by Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan, the
prelate of the Georgian-Armenian Diocese, Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan,
clergymen and employees of the Armenian diplomatic corps, as well as
representatives of Tbilisi based Armenian NGOs, Georgian citizens and
foreign guests.
Episodes featuring the bomb-stricken Armenian district of Aleppo were
screened at the beginning. The proceeds of the benefit concert will go
to the Syrian-Armenian Relief Fund.
The Armenian Embassy in Tbilisi has made donations under the
leadership of Ambassador Manukyan. The organizing committee has
submitted acknowledgement letters to all the participants.
