ARMENIAN STUDIES PROGRAM PRESENTS SYMPOSIUM, FEB. 8
FRESNO, Calif., Feb. 1 -- California State University Fresno issued
the following press release:
Fresno State's Armenian studies program, in cooperation with Save the
ArQ, will host a symposium titled, "Armenian Jerusalem: Past and
Present," 6:30 p.m., Feb. 8, in the Alice Peters Auditorium
(University Business Center, Room 119). The event, which is part of
the Armenian Studies Program Spring 2013 Lecture Series, will feature
speakers Dr. Tamar Boyadjian from UCLA, Barlow Der Mugrdechian from
Fresno State and Dr. Bedross Der Matossian from University of
Nebraska-Lincoln. They will speak on various facets on the Holy City
of Jerusalem focusing on interesting aspects of the city and the
Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem. The lecture, free and open to the
