IRANIAN AMBASSADOR TO ARMENIA CONSIDERS NK ISSUE MUST BE SOLVED PEACEFULLY
Among the other issues Nagorno-Karabakh issue was also on agenda
during the press-conference of the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia today.
"Nagorno Karabakh conflict should be solved peacefully basing on the
international law," Mohammad Reisi, Iranian Ambassador to Armenian
announced.
According to the diplomat the issue should be resolved within the
framework of the international law.
"We can solve all problems observing the principles of the
international law. Any attempt to create tension is unacceptable. No
problem can be solved through the use of force," he said.
The Ambassador also underlined that Iran has good relations both
with Armenia and Azerbaijan, and tries to have such relations with
all neighboring countries: "All neighboring countries are equal for
us, but relations with some countries like Armenia are of strategic
character and nothing can change our principal position."
