EXPERT FORECASTS POLITICAL STRUGGLE FOLLOWING ARMENIAN ELECTIONS
February 13, 2013 - 16:13 AMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian political expert Karen Kocharyan forecasts
no serious changes following the presidential vote.
"A political struggle will be waged right after the polls between the
two wings of the ruling authorities," he said, adding that Prosperous
Armenia's comeback will be in the focus of the discussions.
"Serious processes are expected both within the opposition and the
government," Mr Kocharyan said.
Asked by a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter if the second president of Armenia
Robert Kocharian may run for president in 2018, the expert didn't
rule out the option.
"The first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrossian said nothing
about his return ten years ago," he said.
