Armenia to support businesses with export potential
YEREVAN, Armenia, Feb. 14 - Armenia approved a program and list of
measures on Thursday to support the country's industries with export
potential, the government's press office said.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said companies having significant
growth in production and exports would receive support from the
government.
Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan said the state support would amount to
about 545 million AMD (about 1.35 million U.S. dollars).
The main objectives of the program, among other things, are to create
new driving sectors for economic growth and develop the processing
industry.
