Post-electoral processes to be more active, analyst says
15:06 - 16.02.13
The post-electoral processes will be more active than the electoral
ones, political analyst Garik Keryan told the news conference on
Saturday, stressing that they will first of all be agreed with the
formation of new government and whether the Prosperous Armenia party
will be included in it or not.
`As far as the Prosperous Armenia party, as a second parliamentary
force, did not participate in the elections with own candidate, and we
do not know over which the backstage negotiations were conducted that
Tsarukyan did not nominate his candidacy, it allows to consider that
the PAP will satisfy some demands during the post-election processes,'
he said.
The political analyst said it will be possible to avoid clashes if the
PAP enters coalition.
Psychologist Anna Badalyan, present at the news conference, said she
does not think hot street rallies will follow the elections.
She said the Heritage party leader will shake the hand of the winner
than take people to streets.
Garik Keryan said he does not consider Raffi Hovhannisian leader at
demonstrations and said his electorate makes 10-15% not more, which is
not enough for conducting big protest rallies. Besides, Hovhannisian's
behavior shows that he is not an extremist opposition figure.
