Russia's army chief inspects country's military base in Armenia

MOSCOW. - Along the lines of his visit to Armenia, the Chief of the
General Staff of the Armed Forces and first Deputy Defense Minister of
the Russian Federation (RF), Lieutenant Colonel Valery Gerasimov, also
visited RF Armed Forces' 102nd Military Base which is stationed in
Armenia.
Gerasimov inspected the combat-readiness of the base, and got familiar
with the service conditions of the base and the household conditions
of its military servicemen, RF MOD press service informs.
To note, within the framework of his visit to Armenia, which was held
on Thursday and Friday, the Russian army chief was received by
President Serzh Sargsyan, and he held talks with Defense Minister
Seyran Ohanyan, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian
Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Khachaturov.
