Student paid publication of his first book from Areximbank-Gazprombank
Group scholarship
YEREVAN, February 15. ARKA/. Student Michael Malkhasyan who won `On a
national scale and in the interest of every student' competition and
received a personal scholarship from Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has
published his first book - `Oshakan', the bank's press service
reported.
`I'm very grateful to Areximbank for appreciating my scientific work.
It was thanks to you that I could pay expenses of my first book
release. I hope the bank will continue helping young scientists and
contributing to the development of Armenian science', reads
Malkhasyan's letter of gratitude to the bank.
Under its social program, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group grants lump-sum
personal scholarships to students and postgraduates studying in
different higher schools of Armenia. The aim of the project is to help
young specialists with excellent academic and scientific performance
build up a career.
A specially arranged group of experts of the bank is considering the
applications received. Then applicants are invited for a final
interview held by both the group of experts and scholars of the
previous years.
Under the same program, the bank has implemented similar social
support projects particularly for children from poor families,
diseased children, veterans of the Great Patriotic and Karabakh wars,
and etc.
Areximbank-Gazprombank Group closed joint-stock company was founded in
1998 to support entrepreneurs and to handle financial flows between
Russia and Armenia. The bank is fully owned by Russian Gazprombank.
In 2010, AB Certification (France) Audit Company granted ISO 9001:2008
international certificate of compliance to the bank. In 2012, the bank
received ISO 27001: 2005 certificate of compliance from Certification
International United Kingdom. The bank has 16 branches throughout the
