Still in summer 2012 Azerbaijani analyst Zardust Alizade stated about
readiness to conduct festival of Armenian films in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani vesti.az, tried to clarify the reasons of delay and whether
it is connected with the Stone Dreams novel written by Acram Aylisli.
In the beginning the analyst said the festival would take place
in fall and then in December and then in January 2013. But it was
followed with the noise over Aylisli's novel.
"I want to say that the noise over Aylisli's novel has nothing to do
with the delay and has not affected his intention to organize the
festival of Armenian films. I am sure each person has a right to
express his/her opinion," the Azerbaijani analyst said.
He said he has not changed the idea to organize the festival but was
busy with other projects during the recent months.
