RUSSIAN MP WELCOMES ARMENIAN PRESIDENT'S REELECTION

Russian MP Leonid Slutsky believes that the reelection of Serzh
Sargsyan as Armenia's President will be beneficial for the development
of Russian-Armenian relations.
Mr. Slutsky is the head of the Commission of the Russian Parliament's
lower house for relations with the CIS countries and Russian citizens
abroad.
He says that during the first term of Mr. Sargsyan's presidency,
Russian-Armenian relations were friendly and mutually advantageous.
Serzh Sargsyan won the presidential elections on Monday with 58.6%
of the votes.
