After the Monday presidential election it is possible that the
Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK)
again form a coalition," said Hovik Abrahamyan, head of presidential
candidate Serzh Sargsyan's campaign headquarters. BHK does not hurry
to comment on Abarahamyan's statement.
Talking to A1+ BHK Spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan said the issue is not
included in their agenda.
"We do not see even motives that could direct us to the discussion
of that issue," said the BHK MP.
Mr Urikhanyan also said that his party was not ready to evaluate the
February 18 presidential election.
To the question when the party would give its assessment on yesterday's
vote, the BHK official said with difficulty, "Where should I know?" I'm
just saying what my party gave me in the form of information."
By the way, BHK Leader Gagik Tsarukyan did not participate in
Monday's ballot. . The party's spokesman did not say anything about
the reasons. Instead, he said that he had not performed his civic duty
and cast a ballot in the election. "I was physically unable to go,"
he said.
