ONLY SLIGHT VIOLATIONS ON ELECTION IN ARMENIA - PACE

PACE observers have stated that the presidential election in
Armenia went smoothly but with slight violations, Karin Voldset,
the organization's representative told a press conference in Yerevan
Tuesday. She did not elaborate.
She added that the election procedure had improved in comparison with
previous elections.
In their turn the observers from the CIS countries said that the
elections held on February 18 were open, democratic and in line with
international requirements.
In the results of the election the current president Serzh Sarsyan
was reelected.
