ARMENIA'S HOVHANNISYAN CLAIMS VICTORY IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

Leader of the Heritage party Raffi Hovhannisyan has offered Armenian
President Serzh Sargsyan to meet with him and hand authority over to
him, Times.am reports.
Hovhannisyan said that he has won the presidential elections, while
according to the official results incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan
won with around 58 per cent of the votes.
"Now it is obvious that the Armenian nation has won," Raffi
Hovhannisyan said. "No one will steal freedom and the Constitutional
Court from us. It belongs to the nation."
The leader of the Heritage party recalled that he called on Serzh
Sargsyan to hand over authority to him. "I called on him yesterday
to become the first President who would recognize the victory of the
nation. Unfortunately, he has not managed to do it yet. But it is
still not too late, we will meet tomorrow at 17:00 and before that
I will offer Serzh Sargsyan to hand authority over to me" he announced.
