The Armenian Defense Minister has urged his Azerbaijani counterpart
to respect the ceasefire agreement, which will allow to avoid losses
on both sides," Spokesman for the Armenian Ministry of Defense Artsrun
Hovhannisyan said.
The Spokesman made the statement in response to the information of
Azerbaijani news agencies that on the sidelines of the NATO meeting in
Brussels Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan asked his Azerbaijani
counterpart to put an end to the ceasefire violations because of the
great number of losses on the Armenian side.
"As usual, Azerbaijan is trying to present the desired for reality.
The Armenian side has never concealed that the ceasefire violations
are unacceptable and on different occasions has urged the Azerbaijani
side not to break the rules of ceasefire. The question here refers to
the losses on both sides of the line of contact," Artsrun Hovhannisyan
said.
