`168 Hours:' Kapan mayor not going to resign

Will Mayor of the city of Kapan, member of Republican Party of Armenia
Ashot Hayrapetian tender his resignation, just like the Shirak
regional governor Ashot Gizirian did following the `defeat' in the
presidential election?
Hayrapetian was quoted by `168 Hours' daily as saying: `I am not going
to hand in my resignation because I have held this position only for
100 days.
Although I believe I had some work to do, nevertheless, I don't think
I should resign because of election results. I have worked as mayor
for only three months'.
