ARMENIAN GRANDMASTERS LEADING AT FRENCH OPEN

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. Armenian chess grandmasters continue
successful performance in Cappelle la Grande and Mashhad in France and
Iran respectively. The Chess Federation of the Republic of Armenia
informed "Armenpress" that Armenian Chess Grand Masters Tigran
Gharamian and Elina Danilelian have scored 2 points each after 2
rounds at the open that is being held in Cappelle la Grande, France.
They are leading together with a group of other chess players. The
tournament launched on February 23 and will last until March 2.
Armenian chess players Armine Babayan and Sargis V. Manukyan have
scored 5 points each after 7 rounds at the open that is being held
in Mashhad, Iran.
The leader of the tournament with 6,5 points is Omid Noroozi (Iran).
