NEWSPAPER: ARFD STUDYING FORMATION OF COMMON PLATFORM WITH HERITAGE PARTY

ARFD Supreme Body convened behind the closed doors Monday to discuss
the issue of joining the movement led by Heritage Party Leader Raffi
Hovannisian, a Yerevan- based newspaper Zhamanak writes.
The paper writes that ARFD is studying formation of a common platform
with Heritage Party. Representative of ARFD supreme Body, Head of
ARFD Faction in the Parliament Armen Rustamyan did not refute the
given information, but refused to provide any details.
To recall, by the final data of the Central Electoral Commission of
Armenia Raffi Hovannisian received 36.75% of votes and lost the Feb
18 presidential election to the incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan,
who received 58.64% of votes. Raffi Hovannisian, who got the second
place at the Feb 18 presidential election, has been rallying in Yerevan
and in the regions against the election outcome since February 20.
