Yerevan/Mediamax/. Presidential candidate Raffi Hovhannisyan urged the
Armenian Central Election Commission to "think over" before announcing
the final results of the elections.
The candidate stated this during his rally at the Liberty Square in
Yerevan on February 24, Mediamax reports.
"On Monday, the CEC will announce the final results of the elections.
It will be a moment of truth for the Armenian authorities and the
Commission. Let them think over before it guided by the law and
modesty. Nobody is higher than the Armenian people and citizens of
Armenia", said Raffi Hovhannisyan.
He noted that he will comment on the final results of the elections
an hour after the Armenian CEC's session.
"The people is on the right path and nobody will deprive it of its
freedom. We have finally realized that the moment has come and we
become a nation, a state. The one who will try to harm the people, an
Armenian, will be responsible for it", said the oppositional candidate.
Touching upon the upcoming actions, Raffi Hovhannisyan stated that he
would continue propagating the "revolution of law, smile and greeting
and not blood and malice" from one city to another. He expressed
the confidence that the police will ensure the safety of citizens on
this path.
On February 26, the candidate will continue "celebrating the victory"
in a number of villages and towns of Armenia and he will meet with
his Yerevan supporters at the Liberty Square on February 28.
Raffi Hovhannisyan noted that he will visit Armavir, Metsamor,
Echmiadzin, Masis, Artashat, Ararat, Surenavan, Areni, Eghegnadzor
and Vayk on February 26.
On February 27, the candidate will go to Agarak, Meghri, Kajaran,
Kapan, Goris and Sisian. On February 28, the presidential candidate
will speak at Charentsavan, Byureghavan, Nor Hachn and Abovyan and
will finally hold a rally at the Liberty Square in Yerevan. --0--
