Armenia-Turkey reconciliation: Prosperous Armenia pins hope on youth

YEREVAN.- In 2012 no moves were taken to normalize Armenia-Turkey
relations, secretary of the Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group
Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
While Turkey is ruled by elite with a mentality similar to that of
Armenian Genocide perpetrators, no movement will be registered, she
said.
`I expect nothing from the government run by Gul, Erdogan and
Davutoglu. It is possible to expect something only from the reasonable
part of the Turkish society which is being formed in the country. It
was difficult to imagine but people went to one of the Istanbul
squares on April 24,' she emphasized.
Zohrabyan said she pins hope only on young people in terms of
Armenia-Turkey reconciliation.
