GYUMRI. - The textile plant in Armenia's Maralik city, in Shirak
Region, is ready to host and hire Syrian-Armenians, head of the plant
Hakob Aghabekyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to him, the experience of the Syrian compatriots can be very
useful, especially since the plant produces ready-made towels and
cloths for already several years. The Syrian experts, having settled
in Maralik, became integrated very easily and quickly.
Cotton and textiles, though far ahead of oil, gave Syria's
second-largest inflow of foreign exchange from the export.
