ARMENIA TO ORGANIZE BUS MANUFACTURING

YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS. During the session of the Government
of the Republic of Armenia, which was headed by the Prime Minister
of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan, the Government permitted
the Department of State Property Management of the Government of the
Republic of Armenia to lease real estate and movables of Mikoyan 18,
Yerevan, including buildings, stations, pavilions and others, to "MED
A. KGmbH" company for 35 years. The Information and Public Relations
Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed
"Armenpress" that the decision states that renting will cost AMD 1
million for next seven years. This amount of money will be directed
to the state budget of the Republic of Armenia. The leaseholder is
obliged to organize the production of large-capacity vehicles (buses)
investing USD 7 million during the seven years.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan recalled
that during one of the previous sessions of the Government of the
Republic of Armenia the project introduced by the leaseholder was
approved and underscored that this decision is the continuation
of the previous one. Due to this decision the organization of bus
manufacturing in the Republic of Armenia will become much faster.
