YEREVAN. - American Armenian businessman Edmond Khudyan is preparing
to file a petition with the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
His attorney Nikolay Baghdasaryan will submit this petition to ECtHR
on the basis of several violations that were committed during Khudyan's
lawsuits in Armenia.
"With the investigation that is ongoing for two years and is not coming
to an end, they are obstructing Khudyan from receiving a compensation
for his damages. And without any valid reason, the courts [in Armenia]
do not want to recognize him as the injured party," Baghdasaryan said.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, Edmond Khudyan, an American
Armenian businessman who was swindled when starting a construction
venture in Armenia and who is not yet recognized as the wronged
party in the criminal case that was opened nearly two years ago
in this connection, continues to fight for the restoration of his
violated rights.
