Armenia is ready to sign a new agreement on military hardware
cooperation with Russia. As Seyran Ohanyan stated today at the press
conference the new agreement will provide additional opportunities for
the military hardware cooperation that is being implemented since 2009
and will create field for new bilateral interagency agreements.
Minister mentioned that that this is the best opportunity also for
refreshing the base of military hardware in exceptional conditions.
"Our cooperation with Russia is on high level and it gives us an
opportunity to enlarge the frameworks of the existing interstate
agreement," he said. The defense minister also stated that Vladimir
Putin's new military hardware agreement with Armenia has nothing to do
with Gabala radio station of Azerbaijan and the with suspension of the
remuneration.
