Georgian Patriarch to leave for Moscow

Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II will leave for Moscow on Sunday, Jan.20.
Georgian Patriarchate told Trend, in Moscow the Patriarch will be
awarded the Prize named after Patriarch Alexy II for spiritual unity
of Russia and Georgia.
This award was presented to the patriarch by the Foundation for
international social unity.
The annual ceremony will be led by the Patriarch of All Russia Kirill.
The ceremony will be held on Jan.21.
Along with others, Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II will be awarded "for
outstanding activity and strengthening of relations between the
Orthodox peoples and promoting Christian values".
