STATE IS WILLING TO SUPPORT SCIENTISTS WITH COMPETITIVE SUGGESTIONS. SERZH SARGSYAN

YEREVAN, JANUARY 21, ARMENPRESS: State is willing to support
scientists, those who are interested in science if their discoveries
are competitive. Their activity must be evaluated by the society. As
reports Armenpress this was noted by incumbent President of Armenia,
RPA candidate Serzh Sargsyan during the meeting with the residents
of Avan administrative district of Yerevan on January 21.
In his words, there are branches of science which must be financed by
the state. "Therefore, it is the society to estimate the achievements
of historians, linguists or any other specialist. Science is also a
product and it must be competitive. Despite the state efforts, its
development would be a storm in a tea-kettle," Serzh Sargsyan noted.
RPA candidate has noted there are spheres where the result is not
seen in short period of time and in such situations state has to
present its moral and financial support.
