HRANT DINK IS REMEMBERED AT HIS PLACE OF ETERNAL REST

ISTANBUL. - The relatives and friends of Hrant Dink-the founder and
chief editor of Istanbul's Agos Armenian bilingual weekly, who was
gunned down in 2007 in front of his office building-came together at
his grave on Sunday, that is, on the next day of the commemoration
events that were held in connection with the sixth anniversary of his
passing.
The remembrance to Dink was held at the Armenian cemetery in
Istanbul's Zeytinburnu district, Agos informs.
At the end of the event, a cemetery worker recited his poem dedicated
to Dink, and the poem was applauded by those present.
To note, commemoration events and protests were held on January 19, in
Istanbul and several other Turkish cities, on the occasion of the
sixth anniversary of Hrant Dink's assassination.
