The head of passport division is charged

Another head of the police passport and visa division is on the
defendant's chair. According to the indictment, the resident of
Ashtarak Gayane Hovhannisyan being the head of the passport and visa
division of Aragatsotn region from July 2006 to July 2012 abused his
official power and performed frauds, causing significant damage to the
state's legitimate interests.
For those actions G. Hovhannisyan is charged with Article 308 (Abuse
of official authority) and Article 314 (Official forgery) of RA
Criminal Code.
Let us remind you that according to our recently published
information, the head of the passport and visa division of the
Aragatsotn region Arman Ayvazyan and the contractual employee of the
same division Ruben Sargsyan are charges with the abuse of the
official power (Arman Ayvazyan) and the latter for the fraud for
receiving bribes (Ruben Sargsyan).
