Armen Ashotyan to deliver report in London

YEREVAN, JANUARY 26, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Education and Science
of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan will leave for London on
January 28-30 to take part in the International Educational Conference
of the Ministers of Education on the invitation of the Minister of
State for Universities and Science, Deputy David Willetts and
Secretary of State for Education and Member of Parliament Michael
Gove.
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia
informed "Armenpress" that during the conference Armen Ashotyan will
deliver a report entitled "Chess at school; Armenian Story of success"
introducing the experience of implementing the project of teaching
chess in Armenian public schools. Within the framework of the
conference it is considered to hold discussions on reforms of the
educational system, implementation of educational policies, ensuring
the quality of education and perfection of the legal system and a
number of bilateral.
The head of the Armenian Chess Academy Smbat Laputyan has also been
included in the Armenian delegation.
