ELMAR MAMEDYAROV AND FRENCH PRESIDENT'S ADVISOR DISCUSSED NAGORNO KARABAKH ISSUE

YEREVAN, JANAURY 29, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of
Azerbaijan had a meeting with the advisor to the French president
Paul Jean-Ortiz in Paris, on January 28. "Armenpress" reports about
this citing Azerbaijani APA agency.
At the course of the meeting the sides discussed the present state of
the French-Azerbaijani relations. Also issues regarding the Nagorno
Karabakh conflict and the necessity of finding the solution of the
conflict via peaceful negotiations were under discussion. Among
other things Mamedyarov and Jean-Ortiz discussed issues concerning
the regional security.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan paid a visit to France
to have a meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The OSCE
Minsk Group Co-Chairs discussed the working suggestions regarding the
fostering the peace process with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of
the Republic of Armenia and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
Among other things they exchanged opinions regarding possible options
for strengthening the trust.
