RAFFI HOVANNISIAN PLANS TO MAKE ARMY REFORMS

YEREVAN.- Presidential candidate, head of Heritage Party Raffi
Hovannisian has appealed to the Defense Minister for a permission to
visit military units during his campaign.
However, Hovannisian has not received an answer so far, he told
reporters on Monday after visiting the Victory Park where he laid a
wreath at the Eternal Flame (photos).
"Army must be open for all candidates. The same refers to educational
institutions. I am hopeful I will be able to visit the army - the
source of our pride," he said.
Presidential candidate noted certain reforms must be carried out.
Raffi Hovannisian will also visit Yerablur Military Pantheon.
