Merdinian students gather in front of the school administration
building SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.-The Board of Directors of the Charlotte
and Elise Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School announced on Monday
that Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Terry Bezjian of Los Angeles, founders of
Indo-European Foods of Glendale, have donated $1 million to the school.
These funds are designated for the addition of a second floor over the
school's administration building. This project will provide the school
with additional room and flexibility to better meet its ongoing needs.
The building presently houses the administrative offices, the newly
renovated computer lab. and several classrooms. Upon completion of
construction, it shall be named the Bezjian Building.
The Board of Directors and Administration of the school expressed
their gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Bezjian for this most generous
gift. A donation of this magnitude is a testimony to the benefactors'
confidence in the bright future of the school.
