YEREVAN. - This Tuesday, as part of the presidential campaign in
Armenia, the presidential candidate Raffi Hovhannisyan has visited
    Ararat region.

Hovhannisyan has been to Dvin, Surenavan, Taperakan and after meeting
the residents of Marmarashen visited village municipality, saluted
the head of the village and wished for fair elections. He also lighted
a candle in St. Gevorg church.

The presidential candidate made a speech in front of all the residents
he visited, evaluating the situation in the country as unacceptable.

While criticizing the incumbent president and presidential candidate
Serzh Sargsyan, he said that the Armenian government has enough money
to support the people in villages.

"The government has enough money to support the people in villages.

They only need to tax the 'shady' oligarchs, not to fill the budget
with inflated prices of purchases. When this is done, we can develop
the village, which is one of the most important parts of our national
    security," Hovhannisyan stressed.

He noted one more time the need to subsidize 90% of aggregation water
price and found it unacceptable that farmers are not able to make
use of that natural resource, which, most of the time flows unused
    out of the country border.

Raffi Hovhannisyan urged everybody to actively participate in the
presidential elections on February 18 and to vote for the candidate
people choose with free will and clear conscience.
