AZERBAIJAN BREACHES TRUCE OVER 7,030 TIMES SINCE BEGINNING OF 2013

YEREVAN. - Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire, at its boundaries with
Armenia and the Nagorno-KarabakhRepublic, more than 7,030 times since
the beginning of 2013.
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces made use of sniper weaponry close to
1,120 times and large-caliber weapons, around 3,850 times-including
large-caliber sniper weaponry, close to 240 times-, the Armenian
MOD reports.
As a result of Azerbaijan's breach of the truce, three Armenian
military servicemen were killed and nine others were wounded. In
addition, a civilian was wounded.
Azerbaijan had violated the ceasefire 16,300 times in 2012.
To note, Azerbaijan continually sets new "records" in terms of
breaching the truce in recent years. It violated the ceasefire
approximately 600 times in 2006; around 1,400 times in 2007; 3,500
times in 2008; virtually 4,600 times in 2009; 7,200 times in 2010;
and more than 12,600 times in 2011.
