FRANCE TO MAKE ITS CONTRIBUTION TO RESOLUTION OF KARABAKH CONFLICT - ENVOY

France will make its contribution to resolution of the Karabakh
conflict, French ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Monye told reporters
on Thursday.
He said during the recent meeting of Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev
with OSCE Minsk Group Co-Cahirs, importance of establishing contacts
between Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents and possibility of
achieving progress was noted, APA agency reported.
Ambassador informed of a meeting with Azerbaijani president
last September. During the meeting the sides discussed France's
commitments. During another meeting with Armenian leader Serzh
Sargsyan, the essence of commitments was in the focus.
France, just as other states, exerted efforts into finding solution
to the conflict and will contribute to the process in the future,
Ambassador said.
