details about the property of the former governor of Syunik Surik
Khachatryan.
Liska has stolen more than 200 million dollars from the Armenian
people. He says that when Surik Khachatryan came to Goris in 1990,
he had a small apartment and an old Lada car. With the time passing
he bought his huge villa on funds raised for the dome of St. Grigor
Illuminator church.
Upon the decision of the government, he misappropriated part of the
school and connected it to his yard where the recent crime was staged.
He privatized also the newly-built public bath of the city.
He bought for only 20,000 USD the three-storey administrative building
in Goris, and only a few months later he sold it three times more
expensively to the ministry of energy.
Now he owns for 99 years the second largest lake in Armenia which is
rich in big trout fish is used for his family, gang and governmental
elite. He also owns the Karahunj water reservoir for 99 years, as well
as huge land plots and the resort built in the 1970s near the lake.
All his property is registered in the name of his family members
and relatives.
On Yerevan-Stepanakert highway, you can find an illegal night club
which belongs to his brother.
He took almost free of charge and registered in the name of his wife
the unfinished pool in Goris. An unregistered restaurant in Goris has
been operating for already ten years which has never paid any taxes,
bills for electricity, gas and water.
