Armenian Constitution requirements are not met - opposition MP

YEREVAN. - It is very difficult to express a positive or a negative
view on the Constitution of Armenia; it is ours, and there is always a
need for reforms.
Opposition Heritage Party National Assembly Faction member Tevan
Poghosyan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
`Constitution is the fundamental law owing to which the establishment
of the state is ensured. From this perspective, we should always be
ready for reforms, since their need rises from time to time,'
Poghosyan said.
But he stressed that the Armenian citizens are still unable to carry
out the tasks which the Constitution specifies.
In his words, however, Constitution Day is a day of collective pride.
`We shall see to it that the Constitution is exercised every day, and
we may become proud of the fact that our Constitution truly functions
and enables to address all the problems we face,' the opposition MP
noted.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, Armenia marks Constitution
Day on July 5.
